The competitive team is the cornerstone of Quinit Boxing. Team members train to compete regularly. Competitive team members are hand selected by the head coach. Spots are limited and there is currently a waitlist.

Competitive team members must meet and commit to these requirements in order to be considered:
Active member of Quinit Boxing
Registered member of Boxing BC ($100 annually)
Medical completed and valid for the current competitive season
Own 16oz gloves, mouthguard, headgear, jock (if applicable)

Desire to Compete
ViaSport and BCCDC have announced Phase 3 of Return to Sport. With Phase 3, this allows combat sports to be able to return to sparring and competition under strict guidelines. As such, below outlines steps and details regarding how QB will restart sparring. Sparring will occur in pre-determined groups of 10 (aka cohorts). These cohorts may NOT intermingle with other cohorts. Cohorts commit to train with ONLY those within their group both in and out of the gym. Participants may still attend our usual classes (you MUST follow distancing and cleaning guidelines). Cohorts will be designated by me based on skill level, experience, and weight. These cohort groups will be submitted to Boxing BC and shared with the provincial government for accountability and contact tracing. Any member found to be breaking these cohort rules will NOT be allowed to continue sparring or participate in their cohort. This is NON-NEGOTIABLE. Cohorts will be given designated sparring times within hour blocks. Those chosen for a cohort commit to sparring regularly. If you aren’t, you will be replaced by those on waitlist due to high number of participants and limited slots.
