Built on boxing experience.
Grown through community.

Quinit Boxing was founded on competitive experience, professional coaching standards, and a commitment to long-term athlete development.

Training adults, youth, and competitive athletes in Vancouver and Port Coquitlam.

Where qb started

Quinit Boxing was founded by Jon Quinit, a former national team boxer whose career was shaped by both high-level competition and the realities of injury.

As a national-level amateur, Coach Jon trained within high-performance systems that demanded technical precision, discipline, and consistency — standards that now shape Quinit Boxing’s coaching framework. An injury ended his competitive career — but the transition from athlete to coach reinforced a key lesson: talent alone does not sustain careers — structure does.

Rather than chasing shortcuts, Quinit Boxing was built around a simple belief:
boxing should be taught as a system — not improvised class to class.

why we built a school of boxing

Many gyms focus on intensity first and hope technique follows. We do the opposite.

Quinit Boxing was built to solve common problems in the sport:
- athletes rushing into sparring
- inconsistent coaching standards
- unclear progression
- burnout and preventable injuries

Our system prioritizes:
- clean fundamentals
- safety and control
- clear progression system
- sustainability over ego

This approach serves beginners, committed members, and competitive athletes alike.

built with community

Quinit Boxing grew from the ground up — not through marketing, but through people.

Members showed up consistently.
Coaches held standards.
Athletes supported one another through the work.

Community here isn’t accidental — it’s built through:
- shared effort
- mutual respect
- compassion

Everyone trains under the same expectations — regardless of experience.

Coaching philosophy

Our methodology reflects Coach Jon's high performance background, prioritizing long term development and technical consistency. Every coach at Quinit Boxing teaches from the same framework.

That means:
- consistent language
- shared technical standards
- aligned safety protocols

Coaches are trained to:
- teach fundamentals properly
- progress athletes intentionally
- correct habits early
- prioritize long-term development

This is how we maintain quality across locations and programs.
